Our collaboration with Nieuwbloed became a key part of our journey. Samy joined their team as marketing and social media manager, working with this amazing DJ and event collective in the Netherlands and abroad. What began as one project grew into a trusted partnership that’s still going strong after three years, something we’re truly proud of and thankful for.
How Our Story Began
We’re Kyan and Samy, two friends from the Netherlands with a shared passion for storytelling. After years of following our own paths, Samy in film and Kyan in marketing, we joined forces in Marbella to create Sky Agency in 2025. Built on creativity, connection, and family, our clients aren’t just partners; they’re part of the Sky family, where every story matters.
First Shoots
Samy’s journey began in 2020 when he bought his first camera and turned his passion into something real. What started as a childhood love for filming quickly grew as he took on projects for friends, local businesses, and athletes. While studying Creative Business in the Netherlands, he learned the basics, but most growth came from experience, taking risks, learning by doing, and improving with every challenge. Those lessons shaped him into the creative and driven filmmaker he is today.
Our First Collaboration
By 2021, Samy’s work had quickly improved, leading to a photo and video shoot for Kyan’s clothing brand, the moment we first met and worked together. The collaboration clicked instantly and was a big success. When Kyan ended the brand in 2022 to focus on new goals, the experience and creativity from that project became part of the foundation for what would later become Sky Agency.
Our First International Project
In 2022, we hit a major milestone with our first project abroad in Dubai. We worked with an e-commerce client on lifestyle videos, vlogs, and social media content, an unforgettable experience that opened our eyes to the global potential of our work. It was a huge success, leading to a long-term partnership and inspiring us to keep thinking and creating beyond borders.
Partnership with Nieuw Bloed
The Trip of a Lifetime (Cape Town)
One of our most unforgettable moments was a trip that completely expanded our vision. We captured amazing lifestyle and nature shots with a client who believed in us and made it all possible. The experience pushed our creativity to new levels and reminded us why we love what we do. We’re deeply grateful for the trust and the opportunity to create something truly special together.
First Podcast (Schouders Eronder)
The Schouders Eronder Podcast was one of our biggest milestones and the first podcast we ever worked on. Together with Daan Stormink, we built a strong brand that reached over 15 million views and grew a loyal fanbase across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Even though it ended in mid-2025, we’re proud of what we achieved and grateful for the journey, it shaped us into the podcast specialists we are today.
MENSHEALTH Project
One of our most exciting projects was working with Men’s Health and Thijs Boermans. After Expeditie Robinson, Thijs worked hard to rebuild his strength and achieve his dream of being featured in the magazine. We captured this milestone through video and photo, documenting the emotion behind the moment. It was an unforgettable experience and our biggest brand collaboration at the time, one that inspired us to keep aiming higher.

A Year of Consistency
By 2024, we’d found a steady rhythm with loyal clients like Nieuwbloed, Schouders Eronder Podcast, and Seaszen Real Estate, while also taking on new creative projects. It was a year of growth through consistency, focusing on quality, loyalty, and helping our clients reach their goals. A simple yet meaningful year we’re truly grateful for.
Sky Agency
A New Chapter
In 2025, we finally combined our strengths. Kyan had built a strong network in Marbella, while Samy was ready to take his creativity to a new market. In March, we officially launched Sky Agency in the Marbella area, a new beginning we’re incredibly proud of.
We continue to work with our loyal clients in the Netherlands and abroad, and with six years of experience and shared passion, we’re ready for many more successful years ahead.
